Hey bees, I need your opinions!
I am trying to decide what color my tablecloths should be (HUGE decision I know ), and my options are black or white. My centerpieces/colors are gray, white and bright green, and I feel like white tablecloths will make everything blend together, and black would really help the centerpieces pop. However, the reception space is fairly dark, so I worry that black might make it a little dreary. There is a picture of the space, and an idea I have for centerpieces below.

I think white would be best. With your venue, I think black would make things too dark. Could you get a black napkin or fabric square to put underneath your centerpiece to help pull it all together?
ETA: I know this thread’s centerpiece isn’t what yours will look like, but it gives an example of a fabric square on top of a white tablecloth.

@subbywife11: Thanks for the share! I love the idea of doing a damask “charger” under the centerpiece, and would have never thought of that. Great idea! I was thinking about doing a runner of some kind, but I like your idea much better
