I’m trying to cut costs wherever I can and I’m thinking I’m going to buy the tablecloths/overlays and resell them rather than renting.
Now I’m trying to decide between overlays and full cloths that drop down to the ground.
Here’s a sample over: http://www.cvlinens.com/square-satin-overlay-navy-blue-p-207.html . It would be about $6.50 per table and then I could still use the venue’s white cloths that go to the ground, get white chair covers and matching blue sashes. This would probably be cheaper and easier.
Here’s a sample of the tablecloth I like: http://www.cvlinens.com/satin-round-tablecloth-navy-blue-p-408.html or this one: http://www.cvlinens.com/polyester-round-tablecloth-navy-blue-p-404.html . I think I’d try to get matching chair covers then and use turquoise, white, or pink sashes. It’s very limited in terms of where I can get those though and they would be more expensive, maybe around $15/table cloth. At that point, I’d probably spring for pintucked tablecloths or something.
I feel like the tablecloth with matching chair covers would be more cohesive but I’d love to hear other opinions! AND if you know of where I could get either one for the tables, please, please, please let me know!!!
