I have always had a thing for fairies and butterflies. We are having 3 little girls be our flower girls and FH brought up the idea of having them wear fairy/butterfly wings. I love the idea in theory, but is that tacky looking? Anyone else do this?

I think it would be cute to have the girls wear wings.

If there are more whimsical elements in your wedding, I say go for it. They’ll love it!

We are doing butterfly wings for the flower girls! They have purple wings, purple head wreaths, and they will be carrying butterfly nets. So far everyone that has seen the pictures absolutely love the idea!
So, no I don’t think it is tacky, but I might be biased. 😉

At first when I read the subject of this post I thought you, yourself, wanted to wear wings at the wedding. Thank god! LOL
I think if they are small children it should be pretty cute!

Go for it, it’ll be gorgeous, and the girls will love it. Might do it for mine too! I too thought you were gonna be flutterin yourself, wouldn’t have been too sure about that! Hahaha!

I totally thought you meant the bride wearing wings. My Fiance went a wedding like that once. They got married at the Excalibur casino in Vegas and Merlin the wizard was their officiant.
