We are doing a taco bar at our reception! We are also having some cheese & onion enchiladas for any vegetarians. Just keep it fun, I don’t know how we’ll word it yet though. Good luck!

mmm Taco bar sounds delicious!! Not sure I can help with the wording though. Do you mean for the menus?

That could absolutely be a dinner! Another good vegetarian option is refried beans (they’d make a taco, but substitute the beans for the meat)

I don’t have any wording advice… haha sorry! But I love this idea 🙂

Oh man. I would die to be at either of your weddings.

could you write “eat” or “food” or something in spanish and then have a cute picture of a person eating a taco?

Sorry for this awful mock up. I just copied the bodies for a quick reference (hope the artist doesn’t get angry) and drew creepy tacos in to their hands and a weird taco table nowhere near as awesome as what I’m thinking yours will be.

omgosh so sorry. It took me long enough to mock that up that I missed all the new comments in regards to it being for the card, not for the reception table. How lame am I.

Could you write something cute in the card like “there will be fun, festivities, and tacos” Thats a bd example but you get my drift.

ummm, Casual, light, informal, Mexican  dinner and dancing to follow?  As a guest I don’t think we should expect anything besides SOMETHING to drink, eat(if it says dinner or apps) and restrooms. lol If you feel you should be more specific that is something I personally would add to a website rather than the formal invitation but I personally don’t feel it is necessary.

mmmm. i love tacos.  how fun.  is this going to be a build your own taco bar with lots of fixings?  red or blue tortilla chips would be nice to have on the table too.

I’m having a taco bar/baked potato bar for my big reception (1 week after semi-DW). My invite makes it very clear that it’s an informal event and I put “refreshments and dancing”. It starts later in the evening and I’m not considering a dinner. But, I think it could be considered dinner if you wanted.

You can get nicer plastic dinnerware. I don’t think China is necessary, you can get some cute throw away stuff!
