So, I have to apologize in advanced, as I’m not a bride-to-be. I’m a hopeful groom, but have read through this site and the forums and have found that a good many of you have Tacori rings. I have a general question for those that have some insight in regards the timeline for delivery on a ring.
I ordered a ring from one of their noted Platinum vendors, and was given an expected delivery date of 12/13 (that puts me about 3 1/2 weeks from the order and gives me about a week before I anticipate asking the question). However, in scouring online, it appears that the delivery time may be longer than that. In the experience of others, is that a realistic timeframe to receive the ring?
I’m all pins and needles now. Obviously, the question is contingent on having a ring in hand… so I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself if I won’t even have the ring by the expected date. Any help/reassurance would greatly be appreciated.

Don’t worry…you will get it when you get it…..
Propose on New Years 🙂 That will really thrill her. And make sure she has NO CLUE! 😉

Hello there… my fiance said my tacori took about 6 weeks. He said it took that long because they had to “set the stone” or basically make the ring style we wanted around the size stone we bought 🙂

Oops… should have added that I got a different shape stone then what my model was typically made for. So maybe that made a difference too.

I don’t know how long my engagement ring took, but my wedding band took about 4 months to come in.
We ordered way in advance, so I never really looked into why it took so long, since it still made it two months before our wedding, so I never panicked, but I’m sure this is the exception rather than the rule.

Thanks for everyone that responded. I contacted both Tacori and the jeweler, and it looks like I have a confirmed date of the 16th… one day before we leave for Christmas vacation. I planned on asking when we arrived at our destination… hence the frantic search for answers regarding delivery time. It would have taken a little bit of undoing…
Anyhow, thanks for all of your input. It was very much appreciated!

I’d love to see which Tacori you picked out! (I have a Tacori, myself. Loooove it!!)

Good luck! We had a similar situation, with it taking longer for Tacori to set and size my ring than orginally estimated. My jeweler says that Tacori just takes ages for everything, I guess because they can:) But the good news is that a)My ring was delivered to the jeweler on the morning of the date that Tacori gave us (it got bumped back a couple of weeks before it came in, so our original date to receive it was supposed to be on a Thursday, but after about a week, they changed it to the following Tuesday). But it’s so close to the date they’re giving you, rest assured that it’s really the final date. They delivered on their word! And b) my ring was sized perfectly and the setting is amazing and perfectly set inside the bloom!
I’m sure you will get it on that day, and you will be thrilled because Tacori does beautiful (but slow!) work!

Hello again. All of my worries were unwarranted. It was a little later than anticipated, but I got the ring and the proposal done without any major problems.
Like many others on here, Christina got the 2573 ring. For us, I think this was the right ring. It has enough accents around it to make hr happy, yet it’s not so much that it takes away from the centerpiece (my worry – seriously, this ring run smore than the the vehicle I rely on to keep the both of us safe).
Either way, the proposal worked as I had hoped, and two days later, there are no problems.
Thanks again for everyone’s help. I’m sure we’ll be back here with frantic questions and opinions as soon as we set the date. Sorry for typos and misspells… My phone is horrible for this type of thing.
