I would go the custom route if you have a great jeweler you trust. I have heard good things about Dreamstone, some of their custom work is featured here—>bit.ly/Dreamstone_Custom_Rings

jfair:  Mine was originally inspired by a Tacori ring, but it’s not an exact replica at all. We ended up adding quite a few details of our own, like adding peekaboo stones under my diamond (his birthstone on one side, mine on the other). We found a custom jeweler in Toronto who our friend highly recommended after he’d done his wife’s e-ring. 

I know it’s across the country, but PM me if you’re interested in the contact info! The cost savings were great, and I LOVE my ring.
