I think they’d work with you–they’re a pretty big jewelry company with nicer high end settings…or a jeweler could always replace the head of the setting.

Or go custom?

My mom has a marquis–very classic =]

I totally agree that you could ask Tacori to customize it.  I will warn you that Fiance and I looked into this option, and having them alter their ring design was VERY expensive!  A friend of mine has a beautiful marquise ring that is very tacori-like in detail; she designed it herself (this was like 10 years ago) and a jeweler executed the design for an affordable price!

I have a Tacori e-ring, and I absolutely love it.  However, my band is one of their simplest designs and wasn’t too pricy.  That being said, unless you’re really attached to having the designer name, I think you’re better off taking pictures of  some of the designs you like online to a jeweler and having them custom make something.  For the $$$ you pay for a Tacori plus the cost of them customizing, you could have exactly what you want and probably still save some money.
