This is my dress and it is just described at taffeta. I love the way it feels on, looks rich but not heavy

I just looked up your dress- taffeta, although much lighter than santen is still a “thick” fabric… (for lack of a better word) Its not going to have that light flowy feel like a chafon would.

This is the first dress I tried on and it was taffeta, I really liked the feel of it

taffeta is a stiffer fabric but not too stiff so it lays very nicely. I, personally, love it for wedding dresses. It hides many flaws 😉

Nicole miller has a silk taffeta dress, I believe it’s the same fabric:

this dress was SUPER light and airy.  I know that’s not the norm, but I loved how light it was.

@Collcoll: Mine’s Augusta Jones ‘Tia’, you’ll find pictures of it on the Augusta Jones website I think it’s in their ‘Classic’ collection or on Google Images.

@Collcoll: my dress is a jacquelin exclusive, style number 9861 I think.  It comes with a black sash.
