Apparently tags are the new way to bully people here. It amazes me what people will do to be assholes to each other.

The mods are now officially wise to this.

Hopefully something will be done. I’m not necessarily against tagging, but some really messed up things were going on.

Apparently we can’t have fun with tags? I think it’s pretty ridiculous that it takes 10 minutes to shut down (what turned into) a lighthearted thread, but the snark-filled, trolling/dramabomb threads will be allowed to go on for 10+ pages.

I think we need revised posting/closing policies.

@RunnerBride13:  @Holly77:  If you click on a thread’s tag, all of the other similarly tagged threads will also pop up (it’s another way to search for posts on certain topics).

@MlleFabuleux:  +1 and I had my own tag 🙁 It was pretty funny.

OP, people were using it as a way to be nasty anon.  Hopefully they will revise this so that people can either tag once if your not the OP, or only the OP can tag.

@EffieTrinket:  I don’t know programming, but you would think it would be an easy fix to change the code so only the OP can put tags. I’ve seen it done before so it’s possible.

@AB Bride:  we’ve always had it. It’s supposed to make things more  easy to find in the search box.  No one ever paid attention to them untill last month when someone decided to take a useful but underused tool and make it in to something Bad.

this is why we can’t have nice things.

Man I haven’t been around much lately but apparently I missed something. Well, I have noticed some rude tags about one person, but just a couple times.

The topic ‘Tags’ is closed to new replies.
