I have not had a wedding with them, but the Taj was one of places I looked at when I was deciding on venues. I thought they were very expensive for what they were. The Taj hotel is very lovely and nicely decorated, but they don’t give every wedding individual treatment. They have several weddings going on at the same time slot and their choice of menu seemed kind of limited for what I was looking for. I also find their service kind of lacking whenever I go for afternoon tea. All of this doesn’t seem so bad, but for the price ~$225 per person if I’m remembering correctly, you could look elsewhere for more individual attention at the same price or pay much less on a non-city hotel venue. I finally decided on the Four Seasons. The Mandarin Oriental was another contender (all of the prices were really comparable), but the Four Seasons was more accomodating in terms of menu options. They also have amazing service and the nicest wedding coordinator ever.
