I’d go back to your old job.  Enjoying what you do all day every day is so much more important to me than how much money you make and possible promotions (so long as you make enough to live off of).

I took an almost 50% pay cut to make a career change out of a job I hated.  I don’t regret it for a second.

Always pick the job you love. I’m at one I hate right now, and it sucks. The only thing keeping me here is my health insurance. Sigh.

You spend SO much of your life at your job, so it is important to do something you love.  Go back to the one that made you happy.
