I think it looks great, but I would play with some spacing. I think the Where/When info can be nudged down (so there is space after ‘celebration of…”) See how that looks. Then I would try added a little space around your names, so nudge (ever so slightly) the sentance above and below your names)

I think you’re supposed to omit “on” and “at”. Maybe make the names bigger and text slightly smaller for a more flowy overall proportion?

Etiquette goes either way but I would write our six o’clock and you actually leave off the (PM) since it is understood that it probably wouldn’t be at 6am.

You could also remove the ‘at’ in front of the time as well πŸ™‚

When I am designing and I am looking for tips I usually go to an invitation site and check how they are doing it. I don’t always follow suite but this is where most people get an idea for ‘what and invitation looks like’ so its a good place to go back to if you’re stuck. I use wedding paper divas and minted.

I love the ‘sweetness’ factor you have going and the use of the mixed media (screenprintng, cutout, and traditional printing) will bring a classy dimension to the invite!

I’d also love to see a DIY on your invitation lining project!!! I think a ton of brides would also be curious to see one done by a bee πŸ™‚

So cute! I would however make your names a little larger, and the body text substantially smaller (maybe the heart a smidge smaller too?) to free up some space and make the text less overpowering. Have fun with it!

suburbian

if we go by proper etiquette then instead of PM it should be six o’clock “in the evening”
