I take my rings off while at home.

I keep my wedding set on even when showering unless it’s time for an ultrasonic cleaning. I don’t want to lose them by accident!

I take it off because I’m afraid of it slipping off in the shower.

Sometimes. But I always take it off to swim, apply lotion or put on foundation.

I take mine off to shower cuz it gets stuck in my stupidly curly hair haha

I don’t take mine off for anything other than making jewellery (I make silver jewellery as a hobby), because of the risk I’ll catch it with a file and mark it or get resin on it. It’s a pretty tight fit though so removing it requires lots of twisting.

I don’t bother taking it off in the shower as it doesn’t catch on anything.

I always take it off to shower and do dishes. Sometimes I take if off when I cook, if the recipe is really hands-on.

I don’t take if off at the gym. Maybe I should?

I shower with mine. I don’t get tangled in my hair (and it’s halfway down my back) and soap isn’t a problem either. I use bodywash. My diamonds never look dull, but then I clean my ring religiously. Like at least once a week, sometimes more.

Mine stays clean longer if I take it off when I shower. I also don’t like my hair getting tangled in it, so I put them back on once I am done my hair.

I take mine off for fear of it slipping off as its a tad too big.

Mine comes off in the shower/dishwashing/cleaning, etc., because I don’t want that gunk building up on my ring. It gets cleaned at home every other day or so, and professionally cleaned every 1-2 months. My poor rings get enough gunk on them at work without adding to it! That, and I have very long hair and it’s a pain to wash without a ring getting caught in it to boot!

I take my rings on as soon as I get home and put them back on when I leave.

I don’t wear it when doing household chores and my rings still look fairly new. My friend never takes hers off, she’s had hers redipped 4 times and we got our rings the same year.

juneberries:  Yes, absolutely. I don’t want shampoo, conditioner, body wash or shaving cream getting on it. I’m a bit of an obsesseive ring-cleaner as it is… if I showered with it, I’d probably compulsively scrub it with jewelry cleaner after every shower! 😀

I also would be too afraid that the water and soap would make it slippery enough to fall off my hand. It could get damaged if it fell or even go down the drain (even though our drain has a cover, but my luck the cover would have come loose at the same time…).

I take my ring off for showers, washing dishes, sleeping, the gym… anything where I think it could get damaged, dirty, or lost.
