I know you said the Divina is out, but that was seriously my favorite on you! It made your figure look AMAZING and that blush looked soooo good with your skin tone. Sorry I’m not more help, but I’m still hoping you’ll go back to the Divina 😉

have you tried other silhouettes, you might be surprised. maybe step away from this dramatic mermaid shape..who knows..another shape mght look better. I don’t like how the mermaid shapes gets “cut-off” nd there’s no flow.

i agree with bump- if you are hitting a rut and not finding the one, maybe you should try a differnt style… i really liked the flowy a-line dresses, and i ended up choosing (and LOVING) a ball gown… which was the one style type i was avoiding for fear that i would look extra huge in it!

Give other dresses a shot, if for no other reason than to just rule them out and it might help clear your head, have a little fun and solidify your final decision!

@IzzyBear:  I am a Divina bride so of course I am biased. I also thought the Divina looked KILLER on you!! I have heard from a few other ladies that they felt the flare started too low on the Divina but GOOD NEWS…It can be lifted! That is an easy fix for a seamstress depending upon how tall you are. I am 5’3″ and will have a lot of extra fabric left at the bottom which will need to be taken off. It’s always something to keep in the back of your mind. Don’t discount the Divina just because of that.

@IUrebekah3RT:  I was going to suggest having the skirt lifted so it would sit higher on her legs!! Glad to know it CAN be done!

@malouloune:  you’d be surprised what a good seamstress can do!!!! I bet you have fabric left over – or they can play with the ruffles. The train goes on for hours! Personally I think it looks amazing on you & you shouldn’t change anything. Definitely check into it though with your seamstress. Glad I could help!

@IzzyBear:  there was another bee who did this, although I don’t think she is too active on the boards anymore. I was considefine doing the same so I asked her about it.

I looked through your old posts and I think this dress looks the best on you.  It has classic details (which I noticed in some of your dress choices) but it is also fitted and a bit sexy (which was prominent in a few of your choices, like Divina).  Its a good middle ground!

I love this dress! I love the lace/ tulle combo and the lace on the top of the sweetheart (I am biased because my dress has this).  I think it really does add more romance and something interested to look at rather than a normal sweetheart.

Honestly I think this dress is stunning! It reminds me a little of Allure 8920 which is currently one of my dress crushes… then again so is the Divina so I guess I’m not really helpful because I love them all!  I think you look great in both of them and maybe once you have a break for a while the answer will come to you! good luck!
