My fiance’ and I are thinking about going the custom wedding band route. My engagement ring isn’t shaped in a way that any of the wedding bands that we have seen would sit flush. There is a custom jeweler in our area, but this jeweler does not list prices on his website. There is a physical store in the area where we can see the wax molds of the rings, and the reviews are excellent. Based on this information, I don’t think that they are a sketchy business. Back to the question. To get a quote from the jeweler, I need to upload a picture of my engagement ring so that they can see what shape and thickness the band would be. The only pictures that I have of my ring are those that are on the bee. They were taken outside, on a cloudy day, and aren’t the best quality. I have been trying to take a decent picture of my ring on my phone, but they aren’t coming out well. Any suggestions?

My fiance’ will probably design his band in the store or online, on his own. He hasn’t liked any that he has seen in jewlery stores or online, and in-general he does not like jewelry (even watches). He wants to wear a wedding band though. Is Tungston a more ideal metal for his band or is Platinum?
