I’m so thrilled, I just had to share with y’all. Since I hit that number (you know it, that number you say you’d die before hitting) in late April I have lost ten pounds! I’ve been using MFP and walking in our neighborhood.
This Sunday I’m walking the Color Me Rad 5K, which I signed up for immediately after seeing that number on the scale. I’m feeling great about myself, and just wanted to share. There’s loads of room for improvement still, especially eating a little cleaner. Hopefully I can post another celebration thread soon when I lose ten more pounds!

@littlemisst08: CONGRATS!! I think one of the hardest mind over matter things to do in regards to weight loss is NOT lose your ‘fire’ when you hit that goal weight. I know I have in the past, and it got me right back to where I was before.
For me, I am proud to say that as of this morning, I have lost 26 pounds since I started dieting and working out on March 8th. I am still 24 pounds from my ‘goal’, but my goal weight is low for me – not unhealthy – just low.
Currently, if I did not lose one more pound, I am fitting into the same clothes size I wore in college (10 years ago…AND I THOUGHT I WAS FAT BACK THEN…not a chance!). I know this bc I still have a FAVORITE pair of jeans from way back then, that I have saved, and they now fit 🙂 (you know, one of those pairs that never lose their style?!). Anyways, what is cool about the fit today is that they are looser in my legs and butt, which means thru running – even at this size – regions are shrinking.
So that is my accomplishment for the day. GOOD JOB to all the bees who continuously work their butts off!! The achievements feel great!

@littlemisst08: Congrats! That, to me, is no small accomplishment. Losing weight can be difficult when your body doesn’t want to cooperate with you.
I am on MFP as well and have lost 25 pounds. I just take walks as well although I have REALLY feel off the wagon the last few weeks because summer is super busy, so I need to get back to it.
