Taking a poll for opinions on which look folks think is best for a semi-formal summer wedding. Ceremony is late afternoon in a non-denomination church followed by an evening reception at a reception hall (indoor/outdoor combo). TIA!
Option 1 is a black slip dress with flowers, no alteration needed:

Option 2 is black tulle with sequence flower details, no alteration needed:

Option 3 is navy lace over nude, which will need to be taken in a bit along the bodice:

I find the first one pretty dated, but I like the second and love the third! I’d go with either of those, depending on how difficult alterations are with current covid circumstances.

@vestedbee The dress with navy lace is beautiful! May I ask where you got it / what brand it is?
Also, like a PP said, the first dress does give me a 90s vibe…

@vestedbee: i actually love option 1 as i think it’s the sexiest..it has that fun 90s vibe which is very in right now .. i find option 2 a little boring and option 3 a little “old lady” no offense it just looks like a dress my mom would wear … i personally would go with option 1 🙂

I like 2 and 3 best. I chose 2 because I think 3 seems heavier and less summery, but you can’t go wrong with either!

I like 3 best, but think 1 would be my second choice if you don’t want to do the alterations.

@skuzzlebutt: Thanks for your input! Interesting comment about looking “dated”. I thought slip dresses were “in” ATM, but I am not really up on current fashion trends LOL
@brooklyngal: Thanks! It is from Bloomingdales by Eliza J. Looks much better in person than online.

@megs229: No offense taken. I asked for opinions and have thick skin. And to be fair, I am a mom of a 26 year old, so perhaps Option 3 suits me best LOL
@AnonBee2019: Thank you! Option 3 is actully very light IRL. I agree that it looks stiff and heavy in photos though.
@JiminyCricket: Thank for your input!

@minnewanka: Thanks for your input! Alterations are a pain, but I think it might be worth it for dress 3.
@smalltownbigworld: Thank you!

@vestedbee: I am absolutely not that fashionable, I should have pre-faced my post with that haha. As pp said, it has a 90’s vibe, rachel green-eqsue! If thats whats trendy, it definitely fits!

3, and (IMO) it’s not even close. I just saw it’s Eliza J – love that brand.

Another enthusiastic vote for #3! I think it looks perfect on you and I like it better for summer and the church/reception setting. So I like it most in every way! #2 is my favorite runner up though and you look great in all three.
I also misread your comment at first and thought you were saying you are a 26 year old mother of a young baby. You definitely look like you could be 26- just beautiful!!! I don’t think dress #3 looks matronly at all, very lovely and youthful look to me. I’m 30 and not yet a mom and wouldn’t be able to pull it off half as well as you.
