My mom has always taken all of her jewelry off at night, including her rings. But I just don’t want to do that. I only take them off to play with them when I’m bored. I took my e-ring off a few times at night before I got married… and the next day of course I forgot to put it back on! And it scares me more for my ring to sit in my house alone, than it does for me to have it on. So as a rule, I just keep them on all the time unless my finger hurts.

@merenguito: My Fiance hid my ring one time too! But I knew where I put it and he had a little smirk on his face so I knew he took it.  Boys! Jeez. 🙂

i take mine off when i shower and put on lotion and sleep at night.  I have a little heart box with my name where I put it every night. My mom sleeps with hers every night her exact quote is I sleep with it every night because if someone breaks into the house they cant get my ring since Ill run and it will be on my finger.   granted my mom did not get her engagment ring until their 25th wedding anniversary.

I take my ring off every night.. I put it in the top drawer of the nightstand by my bed.  As long as you consistently put it in the same place you won’t ever be worried about losing it.

I sleep with it on… I usually only take it off when showering or cleaning.

I used to sleep with it off, but I kept forgeting to put it back on again in the mornings before I left for work!!

When I get home from work it goes to the box it came in on my nightstand, never leave it anywhere else around the house.  I just don’t like the feel of it on when I am cooking, cleaning, gardening etc.  I also want to keep it as pristine as possible.  I never forget to put it back on in the morning, I look forward to it! Smile  It would drive me crazy if I slept with it on.

I *only* ever take my ring off when I sleep now… sometimes when I take a bath or shower if I remember… tehe. Personally I think sleep is the worst time to have my ring on cause it gets pulled on the blankets and such and I’m pretty sure that’s how I bent a prong =(

I don’t wear my e-ring for exercising, dishes, or sleeping. My hands tend to swell and it fits a little closer than my wedding band. I do keep that on. When not wearing the ering it’s in a ring box in the medicine cabinet or in my pocket

I take mine off at night, I put it in the same place every day though in the ring box it came in so I always know where it is in the morning

I don’t take mine off to sleep. Or to workout, but I do take it off to clean and bathe and put on lotion. We got a really good coverage plan on the ring because I tend to bump my hand often, but I will say this. Under my ring yesterday, someone commented this: http://careringcover.com …..  pretty neat. I’m thinking about getting a few for exercising…. maybe a few of you could use it for various reasons.

I am so in the habit of taking off all of my jewerly when I go to bed that the ring comes off too, however, bc I am so methodical (read OCD) I put my jewelry on at the same time every morning so I never forget to wear it.  I also don’t wear to the gym or beach.

ETA This is my first post so I wrote it too quickly!!
