I actually take my rings off a lot. Lotion, showers, cleaning, cooking, dishes, etc. But I ALWAYS sleep with it on.

i almost never take mine off…. i shower in it, sleep in it, everything. Ill take it off only if im working outside around the yard, or cooking where my hands are gonna get covered in food and to put lotion on. As soon as im done with these I immediately put it back on!

I never take my ring off at night but I do when I shower, clean and wash dishes It is true that the rhodium plating wears off quicker if you leave it on for those things plus lotions and soaps make it dull looking because of the soap residue… I am going to get mine plated in October a few weeks before the wedding so it matches my nice new white gold wedding band as the plating is wearing off the back of my ring already.

I take mine off as soon as I come in the house. I don’t wear it around the house at all.  I always put it in the exact same place. If I’m visiting friends or family and want to take it off, it goes in the zippered part of my purse.

My ring has a center stone with corners and I have scratched myself before. I could not wear it while sleeping, too dangerous!

I pretty much take my ring off the second I walk in the door and only put it on when I leave the house.  I keep in the original box-always. I could never sleep in it because it would bug me.  Plus, I don’t want a bunch of hair/blanket fibers getting caught in it. Yuck!

I pretty much never take mine off… I wear gloves when doing dishes or cleaning so no worries there. It’s tight enough that it won’t slip off in the shower. I don’t like to take it off for bed because my finger feels so naked without it that it actually distracts me from falling asleep!

Putting on hand lotion or cooking something doughy that I have to knead with my hands…then it comes off. Otherwise it’s on all the time.

Well after reading all your comments apparently I’m not normal haha  I have taken it off when I first got it sized, when I took it to get it checked for the insurance and when I handle raw meat or make bread or something like that.  Otherwise, it stays on. I do wash dishes and clean the house wearing rubber gloves (different pairs for cleaning and washing dishes haha) so it’s not exposed to the chemicals but I’m always so paranoid I’ll lose it.  My mom gave me her crystal ring dish but it still freaks me out that I’ll forget it or lose it or something so I just always wear it.
