Wow you definitely have more guts than I do.

You could try some departments stores? Nordstrom has a good selection.

Fredricks of Hollywood has some nice stuff sometimes (and also some totally-out-there things)

I’ve heard that a lot of these sessions involve a drink or two beforehand to help the subject feel more relaxed/lose some inhibitions (since that’s the whole point!)
I know if I ever do one, I plan on having a drink before we shoot! ๐Ÿ™‚

[ETA] Oh! oh! And Marshalls/TJMaxx!
I know that sounds nutso but I’ve done it before and sometimes sometimes they have some really nice stuff.

I think the semi-annual sale is still going on at Victoria’s Secret.  That would be a good place to check out.

I also noticed that Target and a lot of other department stores put out more sexy things in the intimates department leading up to Valentine’s Day.  Those are worth checking out too.

@Mrs_Amanda:  There are sooo many places that do sexier stuff for Valentines Day! I’d checkout Victoria’s Secret! I don’t know of too many lingerie places!

Good luck, I’m sure he’ll love them!

@Mrs_Amanda:  I won a boudoir session and it was honestly a blast and a serious confidence booster for myself, someone who lacks in the SC department.

Forever 21 has cute lace little things and they’re significantly cheaper than VS. as with stores like JCPenney and Kohls, you get the same look without the price tag.

I also took things that were less “sexy” — like one of his button ups, Darling Husband is into ghostbusters so I took a tshirt and had that with some matching lace underwear… etc.

It doesnt have to all be totally lingerie focused.

Here is one of my photos, its actually my favorite from the entire shoot– and although I look totally in the buff i’m not… and it puts more of the focus on you and makes it sexy without having to expose all sorts of skin, etc.

Let me know if you have any questions. My photog LOVED that i brought a variety of hats, she loves big, over stated jewelry, things that will contrast with your dainty underthings.

Also, it’ll be a little bit uncomfortable in the beginning, but once you get used to your photographer (mine was super awesome, nice, relaxing & funny) you’ll start to open up and feel more confident!

Do it! Why the hell not. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hmm, I’d probably check out VS first then try department stores.

@Mrs_Amanda:  It’s for your husband, that’s not being full of yourself at all. He sees you naked anyway! I I hope you have a blast.

@Mrs_Amanda:  I did one last spring as a wedding gift for my fiance and I had a great time! I brought some props (some old books, my garter and veil, etc.) and just had a great time. I would post some of the pics but I’m at work, haha.

@Mrs_Amanda:  My friend did one of these and she was nervous, but ended up being really glad that she did it. I was one of 2 people allowed to see the pics, and I will tell you, the sexiest ones were not what you think. She wore an oversize sweater and had her hair in a sloppy pony tail. The sweater had a V-neck and I am sure she had cute panties on, but other than that, just a black and white photo, very simple and sexy.

I am doing one, no more how scared I am for my Fiance, as a gift for him on our wedding day. I’ll be doing it sometime in the summer.

@Mrs_Amanda:  Thanks!

And yes, my photog suggested perhaps a glass (or two or three) of wine to help ease the nerves!

I did mine has a anniversary surprise for Darling Husband, so keeping it a secret and getting out of the house without him noticing was a difficult task– but you’ll do it! I had to come up with a drop-of-the-hat excuse as to why i came home iwth SO much makeup on, luckily he bought it =)

Do it! I did, at 190 pounds, and had a great time. I can send you some of my pics from the shoot if you’d like to get an idea of outfits. I would go with budget options if you’re not a lingerie girl though. I probably didn’t need that corset that sitting in my closet
