6.5mm is a great size! Is this going to be an engagement ring, or a right hand ring? If it’s a right hand ring, I fully suggest accenting it with some fun colors or gemstones, like your sapphire idea. Check Etsy and ebay for ring semi-mounts that would fit your stone or come close and then you can have a jeweler mount it for you.

purpledaisies:  You’re welcome! I’m not sure about having jewelers setting a moissanite. I know you could probably send the stone and setting to Joseph Schubach’s and they’d probably set it for you. I also know that anothe bee, Anonette, got her moissanite set at Jared’s. They thought it was a canary diamond! Ask around and see what turns up! Good luck!
