I posted my dress earlier, but dummy me always forgets to categorize it, so it hardly got seen. BUT this post will fix that. I HAVE MY DRESS! I NEVER expected to buy a dress so soon. I got engaged April 24th this year and got my dress that following Sunday. I went in for ideas and BAM the third dress I tried on, I just knew. It’s me. Classical, lace, elegant. And I wanted to share with you all!
I’m contemplating making it a sweetheart neckline. Right now I don’t need alterations, but I have lost weight and I continue to do so, so eventually I’ll need alteraltions. What do you think about that change?
The red sash will probably go away. I found some blingy ones on Etsy better. Again, what would you think? The red, or blingy? And if you have any pictures of blingy sashes, by all means, post away!

Love it, no sweetheart needed!

I think the sweetheart would look nice, but this neckline is also a good choice.

I tried on that gown! It is really lovely! I think the neckline is fine as is especially since you do not need any other alterations.

I love your dress! Sweethear is unnecessary, as its beautiful as is, but if you want it do it. I’d vote for a blingy sash. Show us when you decide. 🙂

It’s soooo pretty!!! I really like it!

Awe thanks everyone! I’m so excited about it. I just now have to wait so long to wear it. I like to try it on whenever I go home since I don’t have it with me since I basically live with my Fiance.

I like it and I vote for the blingy sash instead of the red sash 🙂

Aw, that’s so sweet! I definitely would lose the red sash.
Now, get out of the dress forum and don’t you dare crack a magazine. You’re going to live through three seasons of new dresses…don’t get sidetracked!

Great dress! I personally like the splash of colour the sash brings, but to each their own – especially if you’ve found others on Etsy you like better 🙂

@Mrs. Mink: Haha such a good idea! Looking more would NOT be a good thing at all! Thanks for the advice 🙂

I would actually prefer a plain red sash instead of bling since i think there’s enough bling (for my taste) on your dress. I love red sashes though so i’m biased but dang i love that train!

I agree with the bees who suggested a different sash, while the red sash is lovely, I think an ivory or blush sash with some sparkle would be really gorgeous! I also agree that the neckline is fine as is, but would be really nice sweetheart as well. Although my dress is sweetheart, so I’m a bit partial! Congrats on finding your lovely dress so quickly!

I think I would like the red sash if it was just plain, but since you intend to get rid of it, that doesnt matter. And I’m with everyone else on leaving the neckline.
