I have a little while to find a wedding shoe – I want to have them by the time I start fittings, and my dress should be in by December.
I LOVE shoes. I never have been able to afford designer shoes, and I want to find a really nice pair of shoes for my wedding. I want a pair I will wear again and again, to remind me of that special day (hopefully every anniversary and any other special occasions). So not looking for a “just that night” type of shoe.
I saw these on sale on Macy’s website and fell IN LOVE! They are on sale from $245 to $179 plus an extra 10% off (so about $160).
I haven’t tried any wedding shoes on yet though! I’m not sure if I should order them, see how I like them and then I can always return them if I don’t like them – but what if I like them but I want to also see what else is out there?
What do you ladies think I should do?

Order! You’ll get free shipping anyway, so all you have to lose is the time it would take to return them

@MsYankee: You need these LOL. Beautiful!

@MsYankee: if you like them, buy them. They won’t be around forever, and you can always return them. I’ve found that BMs run a little narrow, so if you have the option to order a 1/2 size up as well, I’d do that too.

@MsYankee: SOOOO pretty! I can’t talk you down because I splurged and bought a pair of $215 Badgley Mischka shoes for my wedding. I can honestly say I’ve never spent that much on a pair of shoes, but these fit all of my requirements. They truly are the most well made and comfortable pair of shoes I’ve owned (granted I’ve only walked around my carpeted house in them….we will see how I feel about their comfort after my wedding), but I think the shoes you like are TOTALLY worth it. YOMO (you only marry once)!
Also, as another bee said the shoes run a bit small/narrow. I’m usually a 7 or a 7.5 and I needed the 7.5
Mine for the big day:

@MsYankee: I waited to order my dream wedding shoes, and by the time I wanted to,I couldn’t find the, anywhere 🙁 luckily I found a great shoe anyways, but not my first choice shoe! My Maid/Matron of Honor and my husband even scoured everywhere to find them, and no luck!
I say if you love them, order them and if you find so,etching you like more, tose are shoes I’m sure you could sell easily if you needed to, or they would look killer with an LBD, or even a nice while summer cocktail dress!

That’s not that much money for a nice pair of heels :-). I’d get them!

@MsYankee: Sorry, I’m not talking you down from this one. Those shoes are WAY too gorgeous and if you have the money, DO IT! Shoes are actually surprisingly hard to come by, don’t let these pass you by! Put those in the cart and order them, girl!!!

I think if you want a shoe that you can wear again and again for special ocassions, you should get something silver or more neutral.

Get them, and return them if they’re not what you’re looking for! They’re at a fantastic price.
