- Wedding: September 2020 - Summer Camp!
My dress has a lot of lace detail and was available in ivory and champagne. I chose the ivory and am glad I did. The texture of the lace itself makes it pop just enough IMO. And I had the similar worry of PP that the champagne would look dingy on me. I think that’s a big risk with blush/champagne dresses, so I would recommend them only to people who are 100% in love with the color and do not want white/ivory.
The ivory looks AMAZING on your skin! It looks much better than the champaigne underlay in my opinion.
I love the look of underlays, but I have a similar skin tone and found that they made me look more pale & pinkish.
Your dress looks gorgeous on you bee! I usually love blus but must admit that this ivory option suits your skintone better. You can always add some blush details to it: maybe a sheer sash, or rose gold accessories, shoes and a makeup look that fits into that color palette. And don’t underestimate the power of a blush bouquet (it’s an accessory on its own).
IMO you made the perfect choice with the ivory. It really suits your skin tone. What a lovely bride you will be.
Your dress is gorg. But on top of that… Whatever you choose will be gorgeous ON YOU because you are going to be radiant all on your own. It is so normal to second guess yourself or want things to be perfect especially for such a day. People will be looking at how beautiful you are no matter what you are wearing that day. Both look great on you. I do however think the ivory has more of a dreamy quality to it. Very romantic.
