We will be traveling to Spain, doing a 10 day luxury cruise through the Mediterranian, and ending in Portugal. A few days spent at each end of the cruise makes it nearly 3 weeks in total. Spending just over 20k, the majority of that being on the cruise, and flights from Australia aren’t cheap.

We questioned whether or not to splurge so much, but we figure it’s our honeymoon, and we may never do a trip like this again. It will be my first time overseas.

We went all out for our honeymoon – 2 week safari in Kenya and a week on the lake in Malawi. We were gone for 3.5 weeks (I get amazing vacation time and my husband was between jobs). Cost around $23k.

swonderful:  Husband and I spent 10 days in Spain (Barcelona, Rijoa, San Sebastian), and then went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico for 5 days. We spent about $6,000 (not including our lovely first class flights, which were gifted to us).

The cost will be between 15-20k, that includes flights, a senior watervilla with an all inclusive plan in the Maldives and hotel, food, excursions in Duabi! Its a once and a life time trip so we decided to go all out and make it the best trip! Cant wait for the end of November!!

swonderful:  In total, we spent about $3,400. That included flights, hotels, a cruise package, food, excursions and souvenirs.

We took an 11 day trip to Puerto Rico that included 4 days there and 7 days on a Southern Caribbean cruise (St. Kitts, St. Marteen, St. Lucia, St. Thomas and Barbados). We loved it because do the mix of resort time in PR and the activities and variety of locations. We did a few excursions (zip lining, catamaran and speed boat) and then did a lot relaxing, beach time, shopping and gambling on the boat. We are hoping to go on another cruise this fall for our 1 year anniversary.
