@MeaganLeigh2011: I am 5’8.5″ (so just under your height request) but I am wearing 3.5″ heels. I was originally going to go for lower heels but then I fell in love with these:

My dress is made of silk satin and has no sparkle but these shoes I just had to had.

I’m 5ft 11 and I plan to wear flat shoes. If I wear heels my dress will be too short, plus I’m taller than my Fiance by a couple inches so I’d like to wear flats. Its quite a challenge finding really nice flats that dont cost the earth though.. but I’m keeping my eyes wide open.

I also want a sparkly shoe and I think you should totally go for that look.. I dont think the shoe HAS to match the dress in every single way.

I am 5″11″ and was hoping for 2 inch heels… wound up needing flats though for my dress….

I got these which were the nicest I could find for under $100

I’m tall-ish (5’9″), but I need to get taller! I don’t want SO to be half a foot taller in the photos, and if I can put on a few inches my dress won’t need to be hemmed. Heels, here I come!

I am 5’8.25″…although I claim 5’8.5″ and I am wearing 1 inch wedges. Anything taller and my dress would be too short in the front. I could get away with a much higher heel otherwise b/c my Fiance is 6’4″ but oh well….

My sister who is about 5’11” also wore 1″ wedges b/c her husband is already shorter than her and she didn’t want to look so much taller than him in their pictures.

I’m 6′.1″ and ended up getting Kate Spade Natalya:

and they were quite a splurge. But before I ended up with them I considered getting belly dancing shoes:

which are anywhere from $25-$50. I feel your pain!

I’m not within your height requirements either. (I’m 5’8″) But my Fiance is 5’11” and a sloucher so I could only afford to get 2″ shoes or shorter. Plus, I am not a heels girl. I almost always wear flip flops and in Southern California you can totally get away with it! Anyway, it took me forever to find my shoes, but they are exactly what I wanted!

I’m 5’9″ and wearing white ballet flats (David’s Bridal, $30. Charlotte Russe also has some cute options, including blue in the Mummy Flat). My Fiance (I think she’s 5’2″) is wearing tall boots. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hopefully we’ll be a little more even that way.

I’m 6’1″ and I wore some gorgeous J. Crew flats. Not much halp I suppose :-P. Good luck with the hunt!

I would also love a little heel, but I don’t want to tower over my Fiance. I’m 5’9″ and he’s 5’7″ so I’m already taller than him. So I’m just going to find a beautiful flat — those belly dancing shoes look amazing.

I am 5’11” and although I could wear heals as my fiance is about 6’2″ I am not because we are getting married on the beach in the sand.

I would really suggest zappos.com and endless.com (endless has free overnight shipping and free return shipping – they rock) you can search by heal size too ๐Ÿ™‚

I am wearing these guys: (rocket dogs)
