@justeen: This is EXACTLY what I’m looking for! I’m 5’9″, so I’m not incredibly tall, but my fiance and I are literally the same height and he’s worried about me looking taller in photos. 🙂 lol

I’m 5’9 and fiance is 6’4….so I’m going as tall as is comfortable for me.  That said, I do think there are lots of options around 2″ if you’re willing to look at the ‘typical’ bridal shoe sites, like touch-ups, dyeables, etc.

These below are the Touch Ups Abby shoe, they clock in at 1.75 inch heel, and you could dye them to whatever color you want and add a cute frilly or sparkly bow clip from Etsy!

I’m 5’8.5, and the FH is 5’9.5ish. So I’ll be wearing a cowboy boot with a very low heel. 🙂

I’m 5’11 and my dress is short, but Fiance and I are about the same height. *sighs* I’m thinking about flats for the ceremony and a pair of killer heels for photos. ^_^

I’m 6′, Fiance is 5’8″, I’m wearing flats, there are lots of cute ones out there though!  Good luck!

5’10” – and my Fiance is the same – so I had to stay under 2″ but I hate how my feet look in flats.  It’s challenging also because the taller you are the bigger your feet (usually) and I’ve got 10’s.

I did find and fell in love with these – Dyeables Brielle.  They come in four or five colors or the white can be dyed (I haven’t decided yet if I will pick a bright color for them).

I’m wearing colored flats. I just commented on another thread that if I wore 4″ heels I would be 6’1/6’2. Lol. I think you can pull off a little heel if you want! I love how heels look, but comfort is my favorite best friend. I’d like to be comfortable. And I LOVE that Fiance is so much taller than me and wouldn’t want to be closer to his height.

Edit: I forgot. I am 5’10 and Fiance is 6’4.

I’m 5’9 and my Fiance is 6 ft, but he’s a sloucher also.  I’m wearing these Nina’s  in the canary color and the heel is 3.75- 4 inches.

I really love high heels and I don’t want to compromise because I’m tall. I wear high heels all the time when we are out together and we look good in any photos and such. Besides, I’ll only have them on for a short time as I am getting married barefoot on the beach. I’ll have these on for the mini-reception afterward.

I’m 5’10, Fiance is 6’0.5ish.  I LOVE heels and normally rock 4″ heels, but don’t want to tower over him on our wedding day.  I ordered these 2.5″ heels from zappos:

I have NEVER been a fan of kitten or short heels, so I am still undecided on these shoes (they just came yesterday).  However, I don’t want to wear flats all day and I also want 2.5″ or under… so I guess I’m kind of screwed : )  Hopefully they’ll grow on me!

I’m wearing flats since I’m about a 1/2 inch taller, but hopefully we will be the same height once Fiance is in his tux shoes. Don’t they have a little bit of a heel?

These are the front runners so far.

I’m 5’9″ and many years ago I decided I’m over this “too tall” BS.  I’m tall, I like heels. deal with it.  I used to only wear flats to avoid the height stares and comments but I just don’t care anymore.  I especially don’t care on my wedding.  I  got these heels from Cole Haan and another pair of flats for dancing, just in case.  However the nike air pumps from Cole haan are like wearing tennis shoes.  The heel is about 3 in so Ill be right at 6 feet.  I got mine off Ebay because I couldn’t afford the $300 price tage

I’m wearing metallic pewter Seychelles flats. They retail for $80 but I scored a pair at DSW for less than half. Mr. PAC is slightly shorter than me; I’m 5’10”. These shoes have a little bit of a wedge heel, which works nicely to alleviate my high arch issue.
