I’m 5’8″, and ended up going with a modified mermaid lace gown – NOT even close to what I expected to get!

ETA: The dress is unaltered and obviously enormous!

I’m 6’1″ and around 190, and I ended up with a dropped waist chiffon…well, I’m not quite sure how to describe the silhouette of the skirt.  Its not an a-line and its not a sheath.  Lazy a-line maybe?

I originally tried on only ballgowns and full a-lines, but I felt like I took up half the room when it was me + a whole lotta dress.  I think that tall girls sometimes have a tendency to downplay their height in everyday life, and I thought I might just make the most of it for this day anyway 🙂

My other half is 6’3″, and I’m only wearing low heels anyway due to inherent clumsiness and weirdly small feet, so there shouldn’t be much of a mismatch.

I’m 5’9″ and 176 lbs (lighter than I was in this picture, trying to get down to 150). This is an Alvina Valenta ball gown, my dress doesn’t come in until around March.

I’m 5’10 and 130 lbs and I went with a Maggie Sottero fit & flare; I had to pay $80.00 for additional 3″ of length so I can wear a small 2.5 ” heel

I’m 5’11 and around 140lbs. I’ll be wearing a Maggie Sottero dress and flats – no extra length added to the bottom as it fitted perfectly without.

Oh, and I think this would be classed as a dropped waist A-line.

5’9 and 130. For the actual wedding, I wore a slip under so it had more of a ballgown shape.
