- Wedding: December 2007
I’m trying to finalise our flowers just now & am a bit stuck on what to do for centrepieces. We are having long tables of 14 – 20 people on each table (7 – 10 people on each side of table) so need 2 floral centrepieces for each table. The centrepieces will be sunflowers & greenery.
The florist has sugested either tall lily vases with sunflowers/greenery or country jugs with sunflowers/greenery. Our wedding is fairly informal, so the jugs would fit as they are a bit more informal. I don’t know if they will look a bit daft though, I prefer them generally but am not sure about that idea for a wedding.
This is our reception room. Tables will be white linen with gold inserts in napkins & white chair covers with gold sashes. We aren’t intending to have anything else but favours on the tables as decoration (sunflower material covered jars of sweets). The tall lily vase would be like the photo but with sunflowers. Jugs would be like normal big jugs with flowers in.
What do you think would work better?
