How tall are you? When you wear them, what height heels? How tall is your SO?
I’m about 5’9″, Fiance is 5’8″, and I’m trying to get into wearing them more so I don’t look like a sloppy hobo all the time (jk kind of)! I’ll wear two inch heels, just enough to make my legs look nice.

@redheadem: No heels for me! Fiance and I are virtually the same height (just under 5’10”) so it’s partly because I don’t want to tower over him, but it’s also – and primarily – because I want to be comfortable and be able to move and dance easily on our wedding day
I rarely wear heels anyway, so they would make things more challenging for me than for many women who are more accustomed to them, and my gown is floor length so changing the visual line on my legs won’t matter. Flats for me!
Finding them, though, was not easy. I don’t ordinarily have a hard time finding cute flats, but most of what I looked at just wasn’t quite right for a wedding, and 99.9% of anything marketed as “wedding shoes” is, of course, a high heel. I finally came across a beautiful and comfy pair of leather Born slippers, decorated with flowers that will peek out from the hem of my gown as I walk. Very happy with them!

@redheadem: You are a mirror image of mine and DHs heights and I wear a minimum of 3 inches daily 🙂

I’m 5’8.5″ and Darling Husband is 5’9″ ish. I wear 4 inch heels at work, if I’m going out with him they’re more in the 3 inch range because I like to wear heels but I don’t want to tower over him.

I’m about 5’8, Fiance is 6’2. Flats are more my style but I have recently started buying heels. I’m trying to dress more “sophisticated” (ha) and they really do make my legs look amazing! I think two inch heels are ideal for walking, but it always seems like the better looking shoes have higher heels. I have to admit that they are pretty fun to wear!

I’m about 5′ 9″ and my Fiance is 6’4″, so i can wear pretty much any heel I want! I usually wear 2-3″ heels, but i do have a pair of 5″ heels just for fun…

I swear I came out of the womb in stilettos
Love the fact that Fiance is 6’2. I can wear my 5 inch heels and still be a few inches shorter. (I’m 5’7)

Yes! 5′ 11 1/2″ (I only claimed 6′ when I played basketball!) My fiance is basically the same height. I wear 3-4″ heels! Love them! But only at work 🙂 I’ve never worn heels outside of work, so it doesn’t bother me at all to stick with flats…..I’m in tennis shoes most of the time with him anyway!

I wear heels but I won’t be on my wedding day. Fiance is 6’1 and I’m about 5’10 so I have a little room to play with

I’m almost 5’10” and almost the exact same height as my fiance. I wear heels for cute going out outfits but not day to day due to comfort issues. I have lots of really cute heels I wish I wore but I just can’t do heels comfortably for very long. But I’ve found that I wear heels the same amount no matter the height of the guy I’m with (I have exes at 6’3″ and 6’5″ so I’ve had some variety).

I’m 5’10 and my Fiance is around 6’3. All of my heels are 3″-4″

I’m 5’10 and he’s 6’1(ish). I don’t wear heels very often since the cute ones are always 3″ and higher and I just don’t feel comfortable being taller than my husband. That and I have big feet (size 9) and apparently shoe designers think all the big footed women of the world want to wear is loafers.

I’m wearing flats at the wedding. But I bought a cute pair of summer espidrill wedges today, and I’m so excited to wear them!
ETA – size 9 isn’t big at all!

I’m 5’8 and hubs is 5’11. I often wear 3-3.5 inch heels, so I either look him in the eye, or am a bit taller. He doesn’t mind I don’t think 😉

I feel like if 6′ models can wear stripper heels than why shouldn’t ordinary tall girls wear high heels? I’m 5’7 and I dont wear them too often due to comfort. It’s fun to wear them when I dress up or when we go dancing. Luckily Fiance is 6’4 so doesn’t matter what I wear. He looks at me real strange though when I’m wearing 4-5″ heels and I’m approaching eye level.
