Purmaid2019 :  omg gorgeous ring bee!! I don’t think yours is high at all. In fact it actually looks as low as you can get it because it goes down into your band. I have a fairily high setting as the prongs come up off the band and the diamond sits on top:

I feel like mine is too high at times too. There are some qualities of high set rings that I just find visually unappealing like gigantic airlines and open space or clunky prongs. The higher the ring the more likely to bang it and scratch stuff with it.

I feel like mine is fairly tall, especially compared to friends and family of mine. I love that my band builds up with my center stone it feels more sturdy to me. Sooo many pretty rings here!

High setting here…stone has some color (H-I) so I wanted as much light to get to it as possible. That red line on my finger is the hazzard of a high setting. The GSD’s leash got caught in it and it actually cut into my finer. I think I also may have disrupted the prongs :(.. Stone is still tight but the prongs look off to me – like one or two arent actually tight to the table. I like a high setting for a smaller stone but now I am thinking it might not have been such a good idea.

Mine is pretty high, but the diamond sits low.

Mine reminds me of a spiral staircase. It is really tall, but doesn’t cause any issues.

My setting isn’t *extremely* tall, but since it’s so wide, I do bump it on things pretty regularly. I also put a noticeable gauge in my office door…..oops. Zales website photo of my ring bc I don’t have anything readily available on my dropbox.

I love my sitting high. When they were setting the center stone I asked them to set it high, I just really love that look.

Cushion cut diamonds are deep stones, so my ring is pretty high set.

I just got this moissanite one done and it is looking taller than expected.  Waiting to get it to see if it is too tall on the finger.
