My mom was half a head taller than my Dad in wedding pics (Dad is 5’5.5″ and my mom was 5’8″ + 3.5″ dyeables because it was 1982). They looked fine! I’m sure your slight difference will be barely noticeable.

As long as you are both comfortable then go for the heels. That you are asking about it makes me think that it bothers one or both of you. It is his day too so if you are stressed out when you are taller, or if he has concerns, then I would recommend you go for flats. Wear the heels for another occasion, maybe the rehearsal dinner or a night out on the honeymoon? If it does not bother either of you, and you are just worried about photos, perhaps you can share the concern with the photographer? They can make sure to look for angles and shots that minimize the difference.

I wore flats for this reason. It makes ME, not Darling Husband, uncomfortable to be taller than others. I’m 5’9 flat-footed.
You couldn’t see my shoes with my dress so it was a no brainer to wear flats.
