I have no idea!  I have lines along the back of my shoulders from cycling last summer.  I also have a couple of spots (no other word for it) where I stupidly let my regular doctor take off a couple of moles.  I was thinking of going to see someone about whether a mild peel would take care of all that.

If you go to a spa/salon with spray tan service (not a booth), they can fill in lines.  They apply the stuff by hand with a small spray gun.

I agree with peacock, go to a spray tanning place, but go a few weeks ahead to make sure its what you want. Most places can do personalized  airbrushing. spray tanning lasts about 10 days. Ask the tanning people when to do it before the big day…

BUT please do NOT use those booths… there is NO SUCH THING AS A "SAFE" TANNING RAY…….. (I’m an environmental health student and my professors make this VERY clear)

My makeup artist did airbrush makeup and she was so fabulous because she also did any of my girls’ tan lines and sprayed them in so they looked natural and tan line-less!

ugh please do not go to the spray tan booth. i went for just this reason (to cover up tan lines) and it was honest to god the worst experience of my life. can i just say claustrophia + awful-smelling goo that you can’t even wash off + not a pretty bridesmaid dress = not a very happy bridesmaid!!

A spray tan booth has its advantages and disadvantages. However, it’s disadvantages were so unpleasant that I will never go back. I went for a formal in college and my booth ran out of spray in the middle of my tan… Just imagine Ross in the episode of Friends when he went spray tanning!  After they fixed it, they sent me back in…which made my tan dark on one side and much darker on the other. I was not very pretty that night!
