I am a January bride – but technically summer over here in NZ!  I am def getting a spray tan.  I had a test run a few months ago – over a long weekend so it wouldn’t matter if I went orange!

But I didn’t have to worry it worked perfectly and I took photos each day to see which day to get the real one on – I am getting it done 3 days before the wedding but only because I am so scared to get anything on my white dress!  I think after 2 days looks the best but I am willing to go with 3 just in case!

Here’s the thing, we’re in Canada, it’s cold, the sun is nowhere to be seen and everyone is pale. I think as long as you have good makeup on and maybe a touch of bronzer you will look great!

@stargurl101: The lady who did mine did it with a natural glow, it was very light – everyone commented it made me look healthy!  She did extra where the sun naturally hits such as on the shoulders and it really did look real.  I was so scared of being orange but it turned me more of a honey tan which is what the sun does to me too.

My Fiance is really tanned.  He has naturally really olive skin and has been in the sun the last few weeks and looks fantastic so I don’t want to look really pale next to him!

I live in WI and my wedding is in June. I am pasty white, so I plan on a few sessions of stand up tanning a few weeks before my date.

I’d do the spray tan, if anything. But I HATE tanning beds so I am biased 🙂 They do have spray tans that are light and just give you a nice glow, I’ve had one done before. I’d go get one now to test it out before the big day and if you like the look of it you can get in a couple weeks. It fades pretty quick… also if you don’t like it, you can get it off. My friend went with me and asked for the super dark one (not sure why! I still make fun of her, lol) but she was orange and dripping with orange – it was bad. But she showered and scrubbed herself with lemon and the next day it was gone.

In actual fact I have made usre that I have not tanned at all.  I am quite pale anyway, and I love my skin when it’s au naturel porcelain white.  I tried spray tans in the past but whatever I use or wherever I go it looks very fake on me.  I am just going to moisturize to the max and get my skin fantastic!
