I am tanning bed tanning – I know it’s bad but I want a natural even tan with no tan lines!

I am a tanning-bed bride 🙂  I say it loud and proud.  I don’t care right now haha.  That sounds bad, but I’m with Future Mrs. Martin; I want a natural, even glow.

I’ve been spray tanned a lot, too though.  I always got great results, never orange.  But the technician told me that it looks really great on top of a real tan.  Then it pretty much just smooths everything out.  Like makeup for your whole body haha

@hotdog – I love it!

I really don’t care either! I figure I am super healthy in all aspects of my life but I like to drink and I like to tan 😉

Ditto!  haha I’m a gym rat and I eat pretty well most of the time.  Tanning is my vice!

I think I’m going to end up going tanning for a month, maybe a month and a half.  My favorite thing about tanning is it makes me look thinner and “smoother” (i.e. less lumpy).

I considered spray tanning too but I’ve heard it can “run” if you sweat a lot or get wet.  I don’t sweat a ton but I don’t want to worry about that on my wedding day, especially in a white dress.

I am tanning bed tanning as well – even though I exfoliate and prep my skin well, spray tans always wear off unevenly, making me look dirty – I take forever to tan however – I have been tanning for almost a month already.

The only time it “runs” is within 8 hours of getting it done.  But my experience has been that it can rub off after that.  Mostly in the armpits.  It hasn’t done that every time, but it’s annoying when it does.

After my “little bout” with skin cancer I’ve sworn off all forms of tanning.  But i love airbrush tanning.  (the kind where a person actually sprays you, not the booths).  it always looks totally natural, even and glowy.

I’m with Meowkers.  I’m terrified of getting cancer, my skin reacts after being in the sun less than 10 minutes so I wouldn’t want to know what 10 minutes in a tanning bed would do.

My wedding is next Saturday, and I tanned in a tanning bed one month prior to the wedding. I got a light tan (which is a miracle really, becuase I am super fair skinned) and my FI commented how much he liked it!! I don’t tan any other time, but being so pale I am practically see through, I did want a little bit of extra glow. Horrible, I know!

The tanning salon tried to convince me to get a Mystic Tan to go on top of my tanning bed tan – but I wouldn’t do it. I just don’t feel like spray tans are made for people with fair skin and auburn hair (I think I would come out orange). I politely declined. My friend swears by Mystic Tan though!

Tanning bed all the way. Spray on tanning can rub off so not only do you get it on your clothes you have to worry about getting it on guests when you hug them, especially if your sweating at all.

I already have a ton to stress about and do not need to worry about my color rubbing off.

I am an anti-tan, sunblock user and even I am going to the tanning bed for just this ONE occasion.  I don’t want to be dark, but I want to look sunkissed, you know?

I will be tanning in a tanning bed for about a month before the wedding.  June = no sun yet for me plus I don’t want tan lines either.  I want a natural glow and this is the best way.  I never tan otherwise and just let nature take it’s course over the summer (through sunblock) so I’m going for it for my wedding.
