I also got a tanning kit at Sephora last year that worked REALLY well.  I forget its name but it was white and orange.

I use the St Tropez Tanning mousse. That stuff ROCKS. It is definitely the most natural looking tan in a bottle I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a lot. I’m super pale and I put in on and have a lovely tan. And it doesn’t smell bad.

I used to love L’oreal’s Sublime Bronze gradual tanning lotion (not sure if they make it anymore – I haven’t used sunless tanner in years). I preferred L’oreal’s version to Jergens, because the Jergens one has glitter in it, which I HATE. The Loreal one was just like a thick lotion – no bronzer or glitter or anything like that in it. I have tried a couple of L’oreal’s products, and I thought they all gave a nice brown color.

@juliette.eliza:  As much as I hate to admit…the Snooki stuff (gold bottle, no bronzer) is working really well for me right now. I usually use Masquerade from Designer Skin, though.

FYI, don’t expect much of a tan in a week, though. If you’re new to it they’ll usually limit your exposure to 3-5 minutes for 2-3 days a week.
