I haven’t but my hair/makeup lady specializes in extensions & she swears by them.  They have to be moved regularly as the natural hair grows but she said they are much more comfortable & less hassle than the sew in (or whatever you call it) kind.

Tape and hair dont go well together so I’m not sure why they made these. Even if its just for a dress up party I’f rather have a  hair extension that attaches by combs and clips over tape

These are meant to be permanent, if they are the kind my stylist uses.

You know when you drop a piece of tape on the carpet and it doesn’t stick anymore?  That’s what this makes me think about.  Doesn’t seem like it would be secure enough/last long enough for me.   What’s supposed to be the deal with these?  Are they less expensive or supposed to be more comfy or what…?

I only use clip in extensions! My hair is already trashed from straightning the crap out of it and coloring it, I wouldn’t want to do any more damage. I have never heard of these sticky ones though. How do they take it out to move it when your hair grows?

They apply a chemical on the tape strip that dissolves the “stickiness” from the tape and they put the hair on a new piece of tape strip. I wore these and they will damage your hair. As a matter of fact, all extensions that are weaved, bonded, or glued in ANY form will damage your hair (I have tried all of them). Clip-ins are your only safe bet.

Here is the brand of “tape” extensions I wore….
