@blankenshiptobe:  I actually came upon a bunch at a target store that had been returned. My sister and I tried them on just for the hell of it, and it was awful. The quality was pretty poor. Stiching was loose, material itchy. Let me see if I can find the one we actually tried on…. brb 😉

I’m very seriously considering these ones (in Academy Blue) for my bridesmaids: http://www.target.com/p/tevolio-women-s-taffeta-scoop-neck-dress-with-removable-sash/-/A-14207085#prodSlot=medium_2_9&term=bridesmaid+dresses

I’m asking two of my bridesmaids to order the dress (it’s free shipping and you can return them to any target store so there’s really no risk to order) so we can see what it looks like on.

My brother’s wedding also had Target bridesmaid dresses and they worked out well:

My Maid/Matron of Honor just bought this dress from Target in academy blue and said its really nice.

The only down fall is the fabric wrinkles easily so if its not steamed and pressed nicely it could look really cheap and like a night gown she said. I haven’t seen it in person yet just in pictures she sent and it looks really nice. Heres the thing Target is great about returns and its only $70 which is about $100 cheaper then any other bridesmaid dress like this so if they don’t work out you can always return it. If I can get more pictures when I see it in person I’ll let you know more about what its lile.

My bridesmaids ordered dresses from Target and didn’t like them once they came in. We ended up having to go to David’s and get something off the rack at the last minute.

Yeah I would be careful of the Target dresses…

Depending on what one, I think they can be a little lacking.

BUT every wedding has different looks so I think you should purchase them online in your girls sizes and they should be free to ship so then if you don’t like them you can take them back to the store.

I have to admit, I have seen them on the clearance racks before and some materials are icky but some chiffon ones looked pretty.  I think you have to order and decide for yourself – its honestly risk free bc of the return policy!

@blankenshiptobe:  I’ve seen returned Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses on the clearance racks at my Target quite often– check them out next time you’re in and you might not even have to order one!

@blankenshiptobe:  We ordered and returned some of the different “chiffon” ones for my friends wedding. They were SO so so bad. All of the “chiffon” was satiny nightgown matterial, they were super flimsy, etc. Also, it was REALLY hard for all of us to find a size. We all ended up with different styles because the website is misleading and a lot of sizes were out of stock. Maybe that has since changed though!
