@Sea_Ashley:  Costco is my favorite big box store to shop. Competitive prices and they treat their employees really well!

@Sea_Ashley:  I greatly prefer Target, but Walmart is cheaper so that’s where I usually end up

I prefer to shop at Target, but I usually go to Walmart because the one near us is a supercenter and the Target isn’t.

Walmart is a terrible company- treat their employees like dirt and ruin small town business. If a big box is neccessary- Target all the way!

Target, but just because it’s closer to me. I dislike Walmart as a company but their groceries are real cheap. Target company isn’t tons better, but hey, it’s convenient and still pretty cheap.

Costco is my favorite but we don’t have a membership – we go with hubby’s parents every now and then because they have one. Their house brand Kirklands is usually great quality stuff, and they treat their employees very well compared to the competetors. I just really admire their business model.

I refuse to go to Walmart, but the closest Target is an hour away. I’ve only been there once and I wasn’t as impressed as I thought it would be 🙁 Everyone really played it up and so I think my expectations were too high. I prefer stores like HomeSense (HomeGoods in the US, I think). I would much rather shop at multiple stores than make one stop at Walmart!

Target for most lifestyle items: clothing, accessories, home items, etc. Walmart for food and stuff like that.

I hate Walmart.  Target Canada just isn’t as good as the US version.

Honest, the big box store I’m at most is Superstore.  We do all our groceries there, and buy a lot of meds, house wares, etc. It helps that we get PC points both with our PC cards and the plus system.

Since November we’ve earned enough to buy a kitchen aid stand mixer.  😛  I saw them there the other day and realized we had enough to cover it.  I want one!  It’ll go on our registry, so I won’t buy it yet.  We’re saving all our points to use when we move to restock the pantry, buy the little odds and ends you always need when you move, etc.

Hate Walmart.  I like Target, but I generally try to avoid big box stores as much as possible.

Costco – great prices, great selection, high quality store-brand products, and I really appreciate that they pay their employees a liveable wage and treat them well.

Walmart and Costco. Walmart is closer, so I usually end up there. I’ve been to Target a couple of times, but the closest one is about 40 minutes away on the highway, so its really not worth it.
