Dermablend.  You can find it at Macys or Sephora.  Be sure to get the setting powder as well.  It won’t come off on your dress and does a good job of covering up scars, and I’m told it works on tats as well.

A friend of mine had hers covered up by her air brush make-up artist.  It also didn’t come off on her dress, but you would have to check with one locally to make sure they can do it and I would test it out prior.

@tksjewelry:  I was going to suggest the same thing.  A lot of MUAs I looked at offered this service!

I was considering covering up my tattoos but I was nervous about the make-up coming off on my dress and I did not want to wear long sleeve.  I am curious to see what other bees say about the make-up!

+1 on the airbrush. I have a friend who is in the process of getting a tat covered up and didn’t want the “under construction” area to show, so she had her MUA put on airbrush. Didn’t come off on the dress and you couldn’t even tell there was a tattoo there!

@marv:   I do hope it doesn’t come off on the dress…. my Back tattoo stretches from my shoulder to my bum, so the dress would be on the airbrushed area..

You don’t need to get the part that the dress is going to cover airbrushed. If it’s not going to show anyway, why cover it? 😉

If you can get is CoverFX was developed in hospital for use on severly scarred burn victims. I used in on customers to cover hickies, birth marks, you name it. It is meant to work on skin that has no pores etc.
