I have a large red rose tattoo on my right shoulder. I am proud of it, I love it! I do not, however, want it to show during my wedding because I just think it will look tacky.
I am planning on getting some tattoo coverup make up. Has anyone tried any? I’m afraid of it rubbing off on other people’s clothing when I hug them or dance with them. I’m also worried that I’ll have to re-apply the makeup because it will fade.
Any suggestions from fellow tattooed brides? 🙂

@pinkrose23: I am tattooed but was proud to show mine off in my dress. However, if you’re sure you want to cover it, I’ve heard Kat Von D’s tattoo cover up/foundation gives enough coverage.

im debating on if i want to cover mine as well. ive heard Kat’s like PP stated but ive seen amazing things with Dermablend. I might give it a trial run. ilike the thought of kind of being “pure” on my wedding day. but i love my tattoos so much..im torn lol. good luck!

@pinkrose23: i should have left mine alone. i have stars on my back and tried to cover them up…. i didnt mind them being there just didnt want them to be as bright as they are normally so i used some coverup stick and powder to tone the colors down. i wasnt thinking about flash photography…. some photos look great and at other angles you see this big swirl of bleck on my back. for some reason my photos are too big to share…. ill try and figure it out and post them later.
