Any ladies willing to tell me about your tattoo removals? Like…procedure, cost, outcome? Maybe before and after pics if you care to share?
Mine is UGLY UGLY! I am so mad I got it done. I almost cry when I look at it. Of course I was an emotional, hell bent on making my parents freak out, first-time-out-of-the-house, wreck when I got it originally. I had some of it covered up, unfortunately, and now it’s even UGLIER!!
No one hardly ever sees it. It’s on my hipbone, but…I hate it. I want to get it removed before I have children. I want to be the example my mother was. I HATE MY TATTOO!!!
(And no, I will not post pics…haha)

My mom tried to have one of her tattoos removed. It was on the inside of her forearm, and the second it was done, she regretted getting it. She covered it with a bandaid for a while, then started laser treatments. She said they were incredibly painful and lasted for almost a year. Her tattoo isn’t removed, either– the blue ink won’t go away. I don’t remember how much exactly it cost, but it was over $1k.
I know that’s probably not the happy ending you were hoping for, but it’s an experience 🙁 Sorry, hun!

I do believe that it is expensive and very painful and the success depends on the type/color of ink you have.
I think you can still be a good example to your children if you have a tattoo ;o) I doubt they’re going to see your hip that often…haha.
Oh, and I just want to see a pic because it can’t be THAT bad ;o)

I want to see a pic to! Could it really be that bad?
I don’t know much about removing them, but I don’t think the outcomes are the best. At least its in a hidden place that noone sees. And having a tattoo won’t make you a bad example mom! Maybe you can share the story and your kids won’t get them then!

Hahaha, thanks girls. I know I won’t be a “bad example” for my kids. I just don’t want them to ever see it and go, “hey mom, what’s that?” because by the time it gets to that point, I’m sure it will look like a stretched out saggy balloon black flower….lol. And with the new lasers they are using now, the chance of scars is very low. Especially here in the Dallas area.
I have researched it a bit. I wish I could get it removed before the wedding! If I don’t, then I’m sure I won’t like any of the beach pics of us. (Don’t know why I’m picturing myself a skinny-minny size 2 in a bikini! That’s a far cry!!)

My sister is looking into getting her tattoos removed, and she said that blue ink is hardest to remove, it almost never goes away. I hear it’s pretty costly, and also rather painful but don’t have any personal experience with that. Sorry you dislike your tattoo so much, don’t worry about your honeymoon – no one else will even notice it!
