I’m a tattooed girl too. I have really large tattoos on both arms and wings spanning across my shoulders, and one on my chest. I have eight in total but those are the ones that will be visible.

I’ve opted to get airbrushing because I personally don’t want them seen for my formal wedding. I’m having a victorian-inspired wedding, and I don’t think it would look good. If I was having a steampunk wedding, they’d be out on display!

But I have no problems with any of my guests who will have them out (and there will be a few of them lol!)

@abbyful:  Your body. Your wedding.

If you know 100% it’s what you want, I see no reason to wait.

I agree!

I have some very visible tattoos.  My fiance was a tattoo artist and did them all.  I haven’t gotten my dress yet, but I won’t be going out of my way to cover them. 🙂

I’m actually planning on getting my half sleeve done before we get married! I want that ink to show in pics, otherwise I wouldn’t be getting it. The tattoos that I already have are in places that can be covered for work, etc, but I don’t plan on trying to hide them on wedding day and thankfully no one is opposing me.

I say, if you want it, get it. It’s going to be on you forever anyway, why would you mind it in your wedding photos?

Kat Von D makes a tatoo cover up and if you look it upon YouTube you cant even tell she was inked!

I’ve actually tried the sample at Sephora of Kat Von D’s tattoo cover up and it didn’t work at all (super thin). My tattoos are bright, though, and I have pretty white skin so maybe that’s why?

http://www.dearbloodymary.com has some fantastic, stage-quality tattoo cover up and I plan on using this for the big day. If actors use it professionally, there has to be some truth to it.
