I’ve got a shamrock on what was supposed to be my lower back; however after dropping trou and being bent over a chair it’s exact location ended up a little closer to upper bum…I still dig it!

Yep, two.  One has familial significance on the outside of my right thigh (lion), and one from hipbone to hipbone (owl).

@MissAB: Don’t be scared.  It hurts, but you’re not going to faint from the pain ;oP

I have three.  One on my back (a celtic heart), one on my hip (a daisy) and one on my ribs (a “sisters” symbol that my sister and I have)  We’re going to be adding the Gaelic word for sisters on that on this spring.

The ribs hurt the worst.  Serious pain.

I plan on several more.  I work in a super corporate environment and no one would EVER guess I have any.  I plan on only getting them in places you can’t see in a skirt suit :o)

I have 2 and I want 1 more!  A stupid one of a buttefly on my lower back, a.k.a a tramp stamp (oops).  And I have an angel on my hip.

My Fiance and I are gonna get it after the wedding.  Its an abmigram that says love and hope.  Its really nice!  And not just his name.

Don’t be scared to get one!  Well, not because of the pain because it doesn’t hurt THAT bad, but be fearful if you’re not sure you’ll love it in a few years.

Just one for me – peach blossoms (I grew up on a peach farm) on my lower back/hip.  I really like them but I’d like to get them redone to look more realistic.  My husband and I were actually just talking about tattoos last night.  He’s been thinking about what he wants for his next one (he currently has a bull rider on the back of his shoulder) and is really liking the idea of a peach tree.

I have 2!! One on my lower back (proud owner of a tramp stamp, here!) that is just some Celtic-ish design. The other is a shamrock on my foot. Original, huh? I’ve thought about getting more but I’m just not sure. I’d love to get the birth month flowers of me, my mom, and my grandma (and if I have a daughter one day, hers as wel.) We’ll see, though. My friend has one on her ribs that I went with her to get. She nearly broke my hand.

I have one on my foot. It is cherry blossoms with my dogs name written in it in Kanji. My dog’s name is [name removed] and it translates to “hope” in Japanese. (And no worries, I had my Japanese teacher from high school write it out so I know it says what I want it to!) My next one is going to be a cherry blossom tree that runs up my ribcage and back that I am going to incorporate my mom and two sisters’ names into (so it can be like a family tree).

Oh and I will add this was the worst pain I have ever been through but so worth it because of the significance of the tattoo to me (My dog means a lot to me because we’ve been through so much together/I studied Japanese for 5 years/I had just come out of a rough patch in life thus “hope” for a better future). I talked to a lot of very tattooed people who said they would never get one on the top of their foot because of the pain!! oops :p

I have a celtic cross on my back (to the left side) – I honestly forget it’s there until someone reminds me. I got it when I was 18 at this super sketchy place and thought I had Hepatitis for a while. It didn’t so much hurt, as it felt like thick sandpaper rubbing my skin. My sister has a full back tatto from her neck to her butt. (see pic) – debating on whether I should make her cover it up for the wedding or no? It was her first.
