This is mine, on my left wrist. I won’t be covering it up. None of my Bridesmaid or Best Man have any tattoos.

i was in my BFF’s wedding a few years ago and she did not ask me to cover it up 🙂

I have many tattoos and a few will show on my wedding day I have some smaller japanese symbols down my spine which will be seen, and a star with my familys names on the under part of my wrist I am currently looking for a multistran pearl braclet to semicover that one though.  No pics of me with my tattoos and my dress yet, going dress shopping thursday so will post then:)

I am hoping me and the dress will be the focal point on my big day and not my tattoos,I think everything will look great and work out amazing!!!

I have tattoos that you mostly won’t be able to see (I’ll be covering up the one on my back unless I get the money to have a coverup done, and the ones on my feet might be visible sometimes), but four of my five BMs are tattooed and will be visible. That’s totally fine with me!

I have tattoos, several will be visible. Both of my two BMs have tattoos and some of theirs will be covered, but I’m not asking them to cover them up. I was only thinking of covering up the large Alice in Wonderland piece I have on my back for my grandparent’s sake, but we’ll see.

Two of my bridesmaids have tattoos on their backs and arms.  I wouldn’t dream of asking them to cover them up.  I look at tattoos as meaningful pieces of art.  I think my girls’ tattoos are beautiful.

I didn’t give tattoos much thought. I have a larger tattoo on my back and didn’t make any effort to either hide or display it.

Some of my BM’s have tattoos and I didn’t care either way. Maybe if some of them were offensive I would ask to cover.

I don’t have any tattoos but one of my BMs had one. She asked if I wanted her to cover it up, but I said no! It’s a part of who she is.

I have one on my shoulder I will cover up. I will not make my Bridesmaid or Best Man cover theirs. I have his one on my wrist I won’t be covering unless I wear a bracelet that may cover it up but I’m not stressing if this one is seen or not.

I love this post! I was just thinking about this myself. While I am not a bride yet, I am already thinking about this. i LOVE tattoos and love seeing women in wedding gowns with tattoos. However, I already know that I want an all lace dress, maybe with an open back… And I am tattooed all the way down my ribs and sides and from my bra to my butt and to the front of my hips/stomach a little. I am already thinking that I will cover them, only because my mom hates tattoos and I know it would make her happy if I put coverup on them. But we will see… My SO is covered so if I didn’t cover my tattoos it wouldn’t matter. I do have a tattoo on my wrist that I won’t cover. But I would never make a bridesmaid cover up any of theirs!

I wouldn’t hide it if you paid me. (I’ve got two more little ones, one is a fermata below my collarbone that will be visible, one is the chinese word for “ankle” on my ankle, that will just coincidentally be covered by my skirt.) I have one bridesmaid with a tattoo, it’s up to her what she wants to do with it. It’ll probably show though, since it’s on her wrist. I kinda like that, since we got tattooed for the first time together (my “ankle” one was done at that time.)

Last year when I was a Maid/Matron of Honor,  the bride picked strapless cocktail dresses for us knowing it would show a lot of ink! She didn’t have any tattoos but she didn’t mind at all if we did. In my wedding,  I don’t care who has tattoos showing, but im planning to cover some, if not all, of my own tattoos.
