I love my tattoos! Well I love 3 out of the 4 right now lol But will be getting the one on my arm fixed soon. You will only be able to see 2 out of the 4 in my dress though that makes me sad lol

I picked other :). If my dress showed my tatto, I would probably just let it. But it’s on my foot, so my ballgown will be covering it without me worrying about it :). It’s small and not where people typically look, so most of the time it goes unnoticed.

I have one on my back, for my Grandpa who passed. I couldn’t imagine covering it up. It’s heartbreaking he can’t be here to attend the wedding, the least I can do is honor him with my tattoo. 2 of the 3 bridesmaids have tattoos too, all on their arms/visible. They asked if I wanted them to cover them up, I laughed. “Yes. You all have too, but mine will be showing…”

I have tattoos! But I put them in places that you can only see in a bathing suit, or with the right shoes. I don’t really want them showing everytime I wear a different cut shirt. So I don’t have to cover anything up in my wedding dress! I have a complex about seeing tattoos when someone’s in their wedding dress. Unless it’s an awesome tattoo! But of course, everyone thinks their tattoo is awesome (I hope), so it shouldn’t be a problem for them ๐Ÿ™‚

I voted other since I have a tattoo but it’s not visible anyways (on my hip).  I like it when brides show them for the most part though.

Mine is on my lower back and is not visible. I feel that some tats look good in a wedding dress, and some don’t.

My Fiance has a sleeve on his right arm and a few tattoos on his left arm. The tux will cover them, but as soon as that jacket comes off, the sleeves will roll up and that’s how I like it best. His tattoos help represent who he is and I love each one!

My tattoo won’t match any dress I choose and it will definitely be visible. I wouldn’t dream of covering it though because it is a tribute to my deceased mother.

I know this is a late thread but I did not want to cover up my tattoo due to the special meaning mine is….like PP my was a memorial tattoo representing my grandma, Angel wings with my nickname to her “Mima” and it was on my left medial wrist….I wanted that tattoo in that place specially for any moments in my life I needed her guidence or I was scared and need to make sure she was with me, all I did was look down, so this tattoo helped a lot when I was nervous at the alter or waiting to walk down the aisle ๐Ÿ™‚

@NoaMarijn: I personally do not like tattoos. I don’t have any and never will.  I am not married yet but I will make sure all of my bridesmaids’ tattoos are covered and facial piercings are removed.

    I may sound old-fashioned lol but hey that’s how I am ๐Ÿ™‚

I only have one tattoo on my hip, so no chance of seeing it in my wedding dress.

But I so WANT one on my arm. I think tattooed brides are sexy and I love the juxtaposition of ink with a glam dress. I’d be over the moon if anyone in my bridal party had ink to display as well–sadly I’m the only ‘marked’ one. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I actually wanted to get work done for my wedding, its one of those things that I keep putting off do to fiances but I have always wanted a lot of stuff done and I think tats on brides look awesome, especially if they are in something fitted.

I don’t have any tattoos, but if I did, they would have to be cover-able for work, so by default they would also be covered in my dress.

Two of my BMs have tats, one has one on her foot, and the other has one on her back. It hasn’t even crossed my mind until this thread showed up about them ever covering them – not happening! Those tats are a part of who they are as people, and I love them for them, tats and all ๐Ÿ™‚

@novemberstorms09: Your backpiece is so beautiful!

All my tattoos are in places that are usually covered by everyday attire – upper back, lower back, upper thighs. Personally I wouldn’t have an issue with having my upper back tattoo (the only one that would be visible) in my wedding dress – since the dress I’m planning on having isn’t exactly the conventional concept of a wedding gown so I won’t be looking typically “bridal” anyway. But my mother is especially adamant about having it concealed. So when the time comes, that will be the major point on contention.
