I voted that I’m proud of mine.  BUT my tattoos are in places where it’s not easily shown.  I’m a teacher, so I can’t have it all hanging out there LOL

Sorry to all the girls with tatts but theres nothing worse than seeing a bride with visible tattoo’s it takes the attention away from the dress and ruins it in my opinion:(

No tattoos but I do have piercings. Two of my microdermals (on my sternum) were rejecting so I had them pulled out. The scars are quickly fading. Depending on how low my wedding dress is (need to go shopping soon!), people may see the last microdermal on my sternum. My partner has tattoos, but most people don’t see them (and one of his brothers doesn’t even know they exist – and he lived here with us for 7 months!). No one will see them at the wedding.

@cuddlz88: I totally disagree. There is plenty worse than a bride not covering up who she IS on her wedding day.

I have two tattoos. One is on my ankle so my dress will cover that. I also have one on my back a bit above my shoulder blades. I have longer hair and am wearing it down so it will probably cover that one but if it shows I don’t care. It’s a part of me, everyone knows I have it, and I think it’s pretty – even with a wedding dress. It also has a lot of significance to me.

My Maid/Matron of Honor has 7 tattoos, all but one of which will be visible. I wouldn’t dream of asking her to cover them up.

I will have mine showing!! I have alot( well 4 visible outside of my dress. If I covered it, it would cost alot and ruin my dress. Thanks to the Navy I got all tatted up! LOL

Cherry Blossoms bc Fiance and met near DC and I love them:) We met in the Navy and were stationed in MD.

LOVE on my wrist just bc I liked it.

ANDDDD My cover up of a tribal heart I got when I turned 18 after bootcamp… soooo early 2001!! LOL My friend hooked me up last May 10′. I was sooo ashamed of showing it( the heart) Now I love it! Hurt but so worth it! I want more but Fiance says no! haha!

I don’t have tattoo.. but I believe tattoos have personal meaning and stories behind them. So, why cover them up? Let’s show off!!

I picked other because the tattoos I have would be covered by any long dress, so they won’t be showing.  I wouldn’t cover them up if that weren’t the case, though.  I have an “I (just like that, quotation marks and a letter) on the inside of my left ankle for the Skin Project; a pink and black star on my right hip, and 7 white ink cherry blossoms on my right foot that I guess would technically be visible but because they’re white you kind of have to be right up on my foot to see them.  People usually ask if they’re stockings.

This is my back piece. Would need a lot of cover up to make it disappear but I absolutely love it and hope to find a dress that shows it off!

I have a tattoo between my shoulder blades.   I got a veil that covered it.  I saw it in one picture, when I was dancing.  I didn’t care if it showed, but I did want it to be covered for the ceremony.

I am heavily tattooed. There is really NO WAY I could have covered mine. I thought about buying a dress with 3/4 length sleeves…but all of my family and friends know I have them…and my family is extremely conservative! No sense in hiding something you can’t technically ‘hide’.

I have over 10 tattoos now, but the majority of mine will be covered just because of their location (like my ribs and back). I’m wearing my hair down, so the one on the back of my neck will be covered. The only visible ones will probably be the ones on each wrist, which I’m actually thrilled about because they are both in my deceased best friend’s handwriting — a great way to remember her on our day!
