I read the title as tattooing your child and was about to say, um what the, haha

no ideas for tattoos but that is the one thing I would tattoo if I was ever to get one.

I’d wait until you perhaps know him a bit better. Obviously, no matter how old the child, a mum probably knows him best, but still, I think you could probably get something more fitting if you waited a little while to know more about what his passions are and what he loves (besides you!).

I have my forearm done with my daughters name.  I always wanted my arm done but it took me a while to think of something I’d love to see everyday and I did, so I went big lol

Sorry it won’ load without flipping it

I have this for my son. His birthdate in Roman numerals. When he was a baby, I called him my baby bear, and his name (actually Fiance, DS, and my names) starts with D, so that’s in there too. For future kids, they will also have D names so I’ll just add birthdates in Roman numerals under. This was right after I got it, obviously lol

I have a Teacup on my leg with my daughther’s initails SQL. Its part of a teparty themed leg sleeve I started before she was born.

Not my tattoo, but it was the inspiration for the one I have on my shoulder for my grandson who died several moments after birth.

 ETA:

I’m getting this one to cover-up one on my upper ankle. I’m going to modify it to represent my child and other other grandchild.

I just wanted something small, simple, and could be easily covered (I’d like to be an elementary principal in the future.) I also wanted to be able to add to it for future kiddos.

Buzzing bee

I don’t because I don’t have children yet, but I’ve saved my shoulders for them because I know I will eventually want one.

My friend has a sunflower with a little bee buzzing around it. It’s so cute. Idr if she has her daughters name or not with it (I think so) but it’s so cute and represents them as a family and their little girl perfectly.
