I have a tattoo of my daughter’s name and birthday and handprint in the same spot you do, as well as some tattoos on my back and I plan on covering them. My foot and wrist tattoos I may cover, but probably not. I may not even cover the back ones if I wear my hair down, which is what I did in my cousin’s wedding. They are directly in the middle of my back so with longer hair, you couldn’t see them at all. That may not work with your MOH’s piece. I am covering because its just not the look I am going for, despite that the tattoos are meaningful. I just want the focus to be on me and not pieces of the tattoo peeking out in pics and as I go down the aisle. JMO!

MedleyHoward2015:  Mine is to honor my nana who passed away. My dress just happens to cover my tattoo, but I wasn’t searching for a dress to do so. I would never dream of asking my girls to cover their tattoos. I actually can’t wait to see what they all look like in their dresses, totally tatted up.

I would highlight them with yellow marker. Seriously, rock the tats.

MedleyHoward2015:  I think the only time you should cover your ink is if the ink its self is badly done. I am biased though, because I think tattooed brides look edgy and sophisticated.

These gals are from google, and I think they look elegant and bad ass at the same time:

I have a 3/4 sleeve and I’ve really wrestled with covering it.  I’m goign to wear a lace bolero for the ceremony only.
