I love them but I don’t personally have one.

I have wanted the same one on my foot for almost 4 years, I’m just too chicken and BROKE to get it just yet. I want to get it this summer. It’s “One Step At A Time” with a small heart and puppy footprints for my two babies.

Fiance wants to get this one he and I designed of his Gpa’s dog tags on his shoulder. We’re definitely thinking soon. 🙂

I really want one, and have for years and years. SO doesn’t want me to get one. I think I’ll get a small one eventually to try it out, probably on the inside of my heel. He’ll get over it.

I have 5 tattoos and have my first tattoo laser removal treatment next week. I went through a stage when I got them and I cannot wait to get them removed. I am only getting 3 of them removed. The two are not visible unless I am in a bathing suit (which I dont do very often :D). And laser removal is so super expensive so I am just removing the ones that others can see. lol Wish me luck!

I personaly dont like tattoo’s for me but they dont bother me on other people.

I want one now, but might not want to look at it when I’m 80. So for now, no tats.

I have 13, all in different places. Many have meaning, only one was a spur of the moment decision (and at age 16 no less!). I like it but don’t LOVE it, if that makes sense. Otherwise, I love them all!

I have two tattoos, as does Fiance. We plan on getting one of ours (each) covered up in the near future.

But for our wedding photos, we’re covering them up as much as possible.

I have one 3 hearts on my foot (representing Fi and our two babies) there are some swirly lines and i love the way it looks!!! Might just have to upload a pic later and i want to get love tattoed (more like a stamp look) to the inside of my arm right below my armpit… To remind me to love myself even on the hard days!

Edit: Fi wont let me get another one till after the wedding 🙁

I don’t think tattoos should be gotten when going though “phases” or at a “spur of the moment”.

For mine, I decided I wanted a tattoo and it was a a couple years before I actually got it. When I finally picked out the design, I hung it up where I would see it every single day for over 6 months before I actually got it permentaly inked on my skin.

@abbyful: I’m kinda the same way… I’m not opposed to tattoos at all, I think they’re awesome. But I have never come up with something that I’d be willing to put on my body forever, and sometimes I wonder if people will regret the things they have later in life?

I think that if I ever had children (we’re undecided), I would probably get their names or something to represent them. Or possibly something in honor of someone who was very, very important to me. When my friend passed away, her mom got “Alyssa” tattooed on her hip with a little halo around the A. I could definitely see myself doing something small and sentimental that no one else would really see.

Big, visible tattoos are AWESOME, and I don’t have a problem with them at all. They just aren’t “me,” I guess.

I have four tattoos. Two of them are identical, on either side of my legs below each hip, the seal of metatron from the game silent hill. One is a cuff around my ankle with a heart shaped padlock and the words ‘down to you the change has come, i’m under your thumb.’  One is a celtic knot-like cthulhu head sort of medallion looking thing. I love them all. I want to get more but Fiance isn’t a fan of tattoos, so i have to wait at least a year between them now.
